Andy Cooney, the star of Irish cabaret, is bringing his popular holiday show, A Classic Irish Christmas, to Mechanics Hall in Worcester on Thursday, December 15 at 7:30 p.m.

A Classic Irish Christmas is just what the title says: a wonderful evening of Irish song, music, dancing, storytelling and gentle humor.

Renowned for his beautiful singing and dynamic stage presence, Cooney is joined on stage by veteran Irish comedian George Casey, folk artist Kate Purcell from County Clare, once the resident singer at Dromoland Castle; and the Darrah Carr Dancers, an exciting dance troupe whose choreography is best described as ModERIN, a combination of modern dance with traditional Irish.

Mechanics Hall, described as an acoustic masterpiece, is the perfect setting for A Classic Irish Christmas show.
