The Beat Hôtel, Harvard Square’s coolest new music venue, kicks off its 1st St. Patrick’s Day celebration in style with music duo Matt and Shannon Heaton. The husband/wife team has a vast repertoire of Irish songs, tunes and wit that gets to the essence of Ireland’s rich culture. The Heatons’ authentic aires are complemented by the savory Irish tastes of Executive Chef Rebecca Newell, who has whipped up a feast of Irish and American dishes like Corned Beef and Cabbage, Irish Stew, Fish & Chips and other delights to get you in the St. Patrick's Day spirit!

Across town in Boston's South End, the Beehive goes green on St. Patrick's Day for the seventh straight year, when Irish-born singer/songwriter Katie McD takes the stage. The Galway native came to Boston to study at Berklee College of Music, and her repertoire of Irish traditional melodies and original new songs reflects that musical journey. And popular Chef Marc Orfaly is adding an Irish flair to his award-winning menu, with Irish-American specialities like Grilled Lamb and Colcannon Mashed Potatoes and FInaan Haddie Smoked Fish & Chips.
