Now in its 11th year, A St. Patrick’s Day Celtic Sojourn with Brian O'Donovan has become the perfect way to celebrate the music, dance and culture of the Celtic nations.
The wildly popular show is returning to The Cabot in Beverly, MA on Thursday, March 15 in a show sponsored by Ulen and Hogue Financial.

Presented by Brian O’Donovan, weekly host of A Celtic Sojourn on WGBH radio, this year’s show features a whole range of musical styles from Ireland, Scotland, the Canadian Maritimes and New England. The stellar lineup includes Open the Door for Three, a super-trio of Irish musicians featuring Liz Knowles on fiddle, uilleann piper Kieran O’Hare and Pat Broaders on bouzouki and vocals. They are joined by Scottish harpist Maeve Gilchrist; Irish concertina champion Brenda Castles; and Newfoundland guitar master Keith Murphy, who is also this year’s musical director along with O’Donovan. Plus, some surprise musicians and dancers yet to be revealed!
