A Christmas Celtic Sojourn with Brian O’Donovan sparkles with masterful music, spellbinding stories and dazzling dancing. It evokes emotions of Christmas memories that stretch back generations. It inspires audiences throughout New England to embrace tradition, spirituality and community.

Now in its 14th year, A Christmas Celtic Sojourn returns to New England from December 9 through 21 at multiple venues around the region, including Boston, Rockport, Worcester, New Bedford and Providence.

A Christmas Celtic Sojourn is built around a splendid cast of performers capable of powerful expressions of love, beauty, sorrow and joy.

Music director Seamus Egan returns with members of his legendary group Solas. Scottish harpist Maeve Gilchrist joins virtuosic cellist Natalie Haas. Dancers extraordinaire Cara Butler and Nathan Pilatzke are joined by the Liam Harney Academy of Irish Dance.

Eilis Kennedy from Dingle, County Kerry, is this year’s featured singer. And also new to the show this year is Vishtèn, an exciting trio from Prince Edward Island and Magdalen Island, who tastefully blend Irish, Scottish and Arcadian traditions.

Boston Irish Tourism Association is delighted to offer three chances to enter to win a pair of free tickets to the following shows: Opening night, December 9, at the Cutler Majestic Theatre at Emerson College in Boston, and again on December 11 for the 5 pm show. Then one final chance to win a pair of tix to the show on December 20 at the Hanover Theatre in Worcester.
