Aer Lingus Plane in Flight

Aer Lingus, Ireland’s flag carrier, has been connecting Boston to Ireland since October 1958, when the first non-stop flight went from Boston Logan International Airport to Dublin Airport. Today, Aer Lingus remains the perfect airline to take you back to Ireland, and to easily get you to some of Europe’s finest cities.

With direct flights from Boston to Dublin, visitors can experience one of Europe’s most popular capital cities, a place teeming with rich history and culture, unrivaled Irish hospitality and amazing food and drink.

With direct flights from Boston to Shannon, visitors can explore the stunning Wild Atlantic Way, from the new Marine National Park in County Kerry to the hills and coastline of Donegal.  This heralded trail offers 1,500 miles of spectacular coastline with white sands and glittering waves.

After reveling in all that Ireland has to offer, visitors are thrilled to know that Europe’s top destinations are just a short flight away via Aer Lingus’ Dublin hub, with flights to Paris, London, Rome, Edinburgh and other iconic cities.

Aer Lingus offers three daily, non-stop flights to Ireland from Boston’s Logan Airport in summer 2025 and is ready to fly visitors on their next adventure. In 2025, Aer Lingus is operating 19 non-stop routes from North America to Ireland, making it easier than ever to visit.

Flying with Aer Lingus

The legendary Irish welcome that visitors love happens the moment you step on board an Aer Lingus flight. Its modern fleet of aircraft offers both Business and Economy class cabins, and all customers traveling Economy with Aer Lingus receive complimentary meals and soft drinks. All long haul aircraft are Wi-Fi enabled and offer endless hours of in-flight entertainment, TV boxsets, games and music. An in-flight app is also available for customers to connect their personal device to the seatback and control inflight entertainment options from their own device.  For customers more interested in reading, the PressReader app offers access to over 7,000 digital newspapers & magazines.

Save Time with TSA Precheck and U.S. Preclearance

The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) has added Aer Lingus to its TSA PreCheck® program, enabling low-risk travelers to enjoy a secure and efficient screening experience.

When flying transatlantic with Aer Lingus, visitors benefit from US Customs and Border pre-clearance at both Dublin and Shannon airports. This means that passengers flying back to the U.S. are cleared for U.S. immigration and full U.S. customs and agriculture controls. Once visitors return stateside, they can simply pick up their bags and go!
