Ronán Noone Teaches Online Playwriting Course

Award-winning playwright Ronán Noone has teamed up with Domestika.org to teach an online course on the fundamentals of Playwriting.

“Domestika hired me to teach a two-hour video course in playwriting,” Ronán says. “The videos have lessons, tips, short lectures and fun in-class examples of plays that will open writers up to ideas on structure, character, plot, and how to tighten dialogue. I use the art and craft of writing One-Minute- Plays to illustrate how to develop dynamic scenes for the stage and as a way to pinpoint the mystery behind creating storylines for full length plays.”

With 20 years of experience as a playwright, screen writer and television writer and teaching creative writing at Boston University and other educational settings, Noone’s work has been produced from the United States to India. His hit play Thirst had a successful run at Lyric Stage Company in March 2024.
