Logan Airport – Thrilling from Every Angle
From a bird’s-eye view, flying in or out of Boston Logan International Airport is a thrilling experience. Travelers are captivated by Boston’s stately skyline and distinctive neighborhoods stretching across the New England horizon. This maritime city is encircled by 34 harbor islands, offering glimpses of sailboats, ferries, and barges on the water, the historic Boston Lighthouse dating back to the Revolutionary War, and the stunning beauty of small towns and fishing villages along the Massachusetts coast.
Everything about coming to Boston shouts, “Welcome—you’re about to have a unique experience while you’re here.” From the moment you arrive, Logan reflects the city’s vibrant character and hospitality.
Once inside, passengers can enjoy a variety of dining options—from local favorites like the Bruins Bar and Wahlburgers to national staples such as Chick-fil-A. Every detail is designed to make your time at Logan as enjoyable and memorable as the city itself.
Getting to and from the airport has never been easier, with Logan Express buses from five convenient locations and weekday water ferries. Travelers can pre-book tickets online and enjoy the added benefit of skipping to the front of the security line upon arrival at Logan. The handy FlyLogan App provides flight updates, directions to your gate, and enhanced Wi-Fi so you can stream that new movie before boarding.
Perhaps what stands out most is the friendly and efficient customer service passengers encounter at Logan.
“At Boston Logan, we are going above and beyond to make travel as smooth and enjoyable as possible and doubling down on our efforts to improve across the board, with a focus on customer experience,” said Massport CEO Rich Davey. “These enhancements reflect our commitment to putting passengers first, and we hope travelers notice the difference and feel more comfortable throughout their journey.”

This year, Logan introduced Live Music at Logan—pop-up concerts in the baggage claim areas of Terminals B and C—featuring local musicians and students from nearby colleges and universities. The program, designed to enhance the customer experience, continues through December 2025.
In addition to live music, Logan offers a variety of services and amenities to make travel more inviting and stress-free. In October 2025, Massport launched BOS PAWS, a therapy dog program in partnership with the Alliance of Therapy Dogs, featuring trained dogs like Remington, Buster, and Waffles to provide comfort and reduce stress for passengers. Travelers can also enjoy public art and sports exhibits throughout the airport and access the Sensory Room in Terminal E, which helps ease travel-related stress. Every element is focused on creating a welcoming, relaxing experience for all passengers.

These ongoing upgrades are making a difference. J.D. Power’s 2025 North America Airport Satisfaction Study ranks Logan Airport 10th in the nation, citing airport staff among the best for mega-sized airports and strong scores in categories such as “ease of travel through the airport” and “airport trust.”
Looking ahead, Massport continues to transform the passenger experience through a series of exciting infrastructure projects. A new multi-level transportation center at Terminal E will provide a smoother, smarter journey for passengers. Designed with convenience, efficiency, and sustainability in mind, this project will include:
- 4,000 new parking spaces just steps from Terminal E, with direct access to Central Parking
- Expanded curb space for ride app and limo pickups/drop-offs
- Solar panels on the facade and roof to help power the facility and support a greener Logan
- Dedicated HOV lanes, a second curb to ease congestion, and additional travel lanes for faster access
In 2026, Boston Logan will truly become the “Hub of the Universe” as travelers from around the globe journey here for World Cup Soccer games at Gillette Stadium, the return of the Tall Ships promenade in Boston Harbor, and America 250 celebrations across New England.
It will be a thrilling year for Boston and New England—and for Boston Logan International Airport—where customer service, easy access, and upgraded facilities promise to thrill travelers from every angle.
