Irish and Celtic music and dance are popular throughout New England not just around St. Patrick’s Day but all year round, thanks in large part to Spectacle Live, the region’s premier music promotion company.

Based in Lexington, MA, Spectacle has booked five top-selling Irish and Celtic shows this summer alone, at concert halls in Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Rhode Island.

Loyal audiences have the chance to see their favorite shows, whether it’s Donegal crooner Daniel O’Donnell, California Irish rock band Gaelic Storm (pictured above) or Atlanta’s own Dancing with the Celts revue. And two outstanding singing ensembles from Dublin, Ireland, the High Kings and Celtic Thunder, pictured below, are also performing.

On September 13, Spectacle presents the annual 6th Lowell Irish Festival on the grassy grounds outside Lowell Memorial Auditorium. The family-fun festival is free, and features local bands, step dancers, vendors and craft beer tents.

Spectacle goes beyond Irish and Celtic of course, bringing New Englanders a wonderful array of classic rock, folk music and more. On July 15, pop and soul maestro Daryl Hall performs with special guest Glenn Tilbrook at Lowell Memorial Auditorium. Singer / songwriting legend Graham Nash performs ‘More Evenings of Songs and Stories’ at Plymouth Memorial Hall on July 18, then at Historic Park Theatre and Event Center in Cranston, RI on July 19. Local folk favorite Adam Ezra Group performs at Nashua Center for the Arts in New Hampshire on July 25.
