GAA Football & Hurling Watch Parties in South Boston, July 4-26

The Grove at the Lawn on D in South Boston Seaport has announced a series of viewing parties for the Irish Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) championship games this summer. The Grove will be streaming GAA semi-final and final matches in hurling and football on its big screens for public viewing, with cabanas and lounges available for reservation.

Fans are invited to watch the games while enjoying Irish-inspired food and beverage specials, such as Jambon Breakfast Sandwich, Corned Beef Egg Rolls, and a Watermelon and Tajin Mango Cup, with drink specials including a Magners 16oz Irish cider, an Irish Mule, and Iced Irish Coffee with Jameson, Atomic Cold Brew with Whipped Cream. 

Events that will be showing at The Grove at the Lawn on D include the following, with opening times one hour prior to the start of each game):

·       Saturday July 4, 9:30 a.m.: Hurling semifinal, Cork vs. Galway

·       Sunday July 5, 10:00 a.m.: Hurling semifinal, Clare vs. Limerick

·       Saturday July 11, 12:00 p.m.: Football semifinal, Louth vs. Mayo

·       Sunday July 12, 10:00 a.m.: Football semifinal, Dublin vs. Kerry

·       Sunday July 19, 9:30 a.m.: Hurling Final

·       Sunday July 26, 9:30 a.m.: Football Final

The Grove at Lawn on D

Inspired by the community-driven nature of the Lawn on D, The Grove at Lawn on D opened in summer 2026, and is designed to bring people together in the heart of the South Boston Waterfront. Shipping containers draped with jasmine and ivy serve elevated food and beverage, while cabanas and summer-long programming offer Bostonians an accessible third place in the city’s hottest neighborhood.

Located alongside the Menino Convention & Exhibition Center in South Boston, Lawn on D opened in 2014 and since then has become Boston’s most innovative and dynamic outdoor event space in the heart of the thriving Seaport District.

GAA Fields at the Irish Cultural Center in Canton, MA

Each summer in Greater Boston, the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) season takes center-stage from May through August, featuring some of the best Gaelic football, hurling and camogie you’ll find, thanks to the Northeastern GAA division, which oversees Gaelic football and hurling for both men and women. All games are played at the Irish Cultural Centre in Canton, south of Boston.

The GAA Semi Finals Weekend is August 1-2, and the GAA Finals Weekend is August 8-9. This year’s season finale is special this year, when the USGAA North American Finals take place at the Irish Cultural Centre from August 14-16, bringing teams from all across the USA and Canada to compete for top honors.
