Boston Frostival Brings Fun Winter Programs to Copley Square and Rose Kennedy Greenway in February

Meet Boston’s brand-new winter celebration, Boston Frostival, is launching two exciting new activities in February: Frostival Lodge furnished by Wayfair at Copley Square, February 6-28, and Frostival Ferris Wheelon the Rose Kennedy Greenway, February 1-28, 2026. 

The Frostival Lodge furnished by Wayfair is a unique partnership between Meet Boston, Eataly, Wayfair and NBC Boston. Wayfair is recreating a winter lodge, with cozy, comfortable cabin furniture and décor, representing a warm winter escape in the heart of Copley Square. Think Scandinavian landscape, château in the Italian Alps, and cozy alpine lodge in Quebec. 

Eataly offers food and drink options befitting a winter wonderland, and visitors can immerse themselves in themes from the 2026 Winter Olympics taking place in Milan-Cortina, Italy on February 6-22, being covered locally by NBC Boston.

Across town, Boston Frostival features a 75-foot Ferris Wheel on Rose Kennedy Greenway, adjacent to the park’s iconic carousel. The Frostival Ferris Wheel operates January 31 to  March 1, Wednesdays through Sundays.   Also, the carousel on the Greenway is open weekends in February. 

Additionally, Boston offers a longstanding variety of winter experiences, from outdoor skating and winter art installations to vibrant theater and live entertainment.  On the culinary front, enjoy wine and food festivals and the annual Dine Out Boston featuring the area’s top restaurants.  Sporting events at TD Garden include the Boston Celtics and Boston Bruins, plus the beloved Beatpot collegiate hockey tournament.
