Boston Irish Sunday at McMullen Museum of Art

The Charitable Irish Society invites fellow members of the greater Boston Irish community for a special afternoon program and curator-led tours of McMullen Museum’s spring exhibition, “Collaborating in Conflict: The Yeats Family and the Public Art.” Open to all, the event will include complimentary food and drink.
The exhibition includes more than 200 works by three generations of Yeats family artists from premier public and private collections in Ireland, Northern Ireland, and the United States. It features many recent acquisitions by Boston College’s John J. Burns Library and McMullen Museum, including paintings by Jack B. Yeats and a remarkable series of Stations of the Cross embroidered by Lily Yeats, never before shown publicly.
