The Strayaways are an Irish traditional music trio featuring a collaboration between acclaimed musicians Kevin Burke, Dylan Foley and Eamon O’Leary.
The group’s members are: Kevin Burke (pictured): A National Endowment for the Arts National Heritage Fellowship recipient, he is an influential fiddler known for his distinctive Sligo-style playing and work with groups like The Bothy Band and Patrick Street. Dylan Foley – a highly regarded 4-time All-Ireland Fiddle Champion is recognized for carrying forward the Irish Sligo-style musical tradition with intense drive and fluid playing. Eamon O’Leary is a prominent Dublin-born musician, singer, and songwriter known for his work in both Irish traditional music and contemporary folk. He is a long-time resident of New York City and has an extensive career as a collaborator, The Murphy Beds, and solo artist. Aside from vocals, he is often featured on bouzouki and guitar.
