The Charitable Irish Society presents its coveted Silver Key Awards in 2026 to: Joseph P. Kennedy lll and Martina Curtin
As the former Special Envoy to Northern Ireland, Joe Kennedy represented a continuing link between the United States and Ireland—one grounded in shared history, democratic values, and mutual support. His engagement reflects both a personal and professional dedication to the Irish people and their future, and he has used his position to elevate the importance of transatlantic cooperation.
Martina Curtin is a highly deserving recipient of the Silver Key Award from the Society in recognition of her exceptional leadership, dedication, and impact on Irish cultural and business communities. As President for the past 6 years of the Irish Cultural Centre, she has played a vital role in preserving and promoting Irish heritage, creating meaningful cultural programming, and strengthening ties across generations.
Founded in 1737, the Charitable Irish Society is the oldest Irish organization in North America, and continues its worthy mission of helping immigrants while cultivating a spirit of unity and harmony in the Irish-American community.
The awards reception serves as a fundraiser to build support for the Charitable Irish Society’s mission to aid immigrants in need. Join the Society’s Awards Ceremony, Cocktail Reception and, of course, the very popular Silent Auction!
