Concord Celebrates Patriots Day

April 17 @ 8:00 am - April 20 @ 5:00 pm

Patriots’ Day Weekend in Concord brings history to life across the town, from candlelit moments to full-scale reenactments and community celebrations. Begin Friday evening at the North Bridge Patriot Vigil, where lantern light and reflection set the tone for the weekend. On Sunday, gather early for the Dawn Salute at Buttrick Hill, a powerful reenactment marking the opening moments of the battle. Throughout the day, head to the North Bridge Real-Time Program to experience the events of April 19 as they unfolded, in the very place they happened.

Monday brings the energy of celebration to Main Street with the Patriots’ Day Parade at 9 a.m., followed by a Block Party from 12–4 p.m., filled with music, community, and family-friendly fun. Across town, local attractions and historic sites are open, including the Concord Museum, where you’ll find free admission, living history, musket drills, and colonial encampments that bring the past into the present.
