JFK Hyannis Museum – Celebration of Barnstable’s Old Town Hall 1926-2026

Join the JFK Hyannis Museum in the Museum’s courtyard to commemorate the 100th birthday of the building that now houses the JFK Hyannis Museum.
Opened in 1926, the same year that Joe and Rose Kennedy spent their first summer in the Malcolm Cottage in Hyannis Port with their growing family, the stately brick building has witnessed a century of civic life in the town of Barnstable. A brief speaking program with expressions of patriotic and birthday wishes from today’s community leaders, friends and citizens followed by free birthday cake and souvenirs for the first 100 visitors. Musical entertainment by Hyannis Sound.
