Lowell Fanfest Soccer Watch Parties June 13 – July 19

June 13 - July 19

Fans from Greater Lowell and beyond are invited to celebrate the pinnacle of international soccer with live match broadcasts on giant screens, delicious food vendors, live music, family-friendly activities, and unforgettable moments throughout the tournament. See complete schedule here.

The watch parties are presented by the Revolutionary Valley Regional Tourism Council in partnership with the LatinX Center. On June 8, FIFA granted the final viewing licenses to Lowell, making it one of 17 state grant-funded events to receive permits.

Lowell’s 17 watch parties begin on June 13 and culminate in the final match on July 19. The viewing parties take place at either the Tsongas Center or the Lowell Memorial Auditorium.

“Lowell is a city that prides itself on its diversity,” said Revolutionary Valley Executive Director Brian Bradbury. “Together with our partners at the Latin X Center, many of the watch parties will celebrate the rich cultural communities that call Massachusetts home. Notable events include Haitian Night on June 13 (Haiti vs. Scotland), Morocco and Brazil Double Night on June 19 (Morocco vs. Scotland and Brazil vs. Haiti), Grand French Night on June 26 (Norway vs. France), and Grand Latin American Night on June 27 (Panama vs. England and Colombia vs. Portugal).

At both the Lowell Auditorium and Tsongas Center, fans can experience the matches on massive LED screens with immersive stadium-style sound and crowd energy. Attendees will celebrate the cultures, music, food, and traditions that make soccer a global phenomenon while enjoying local favorites, international cuisine, cold drinks, and a range of activities and entertainment for fans of all ages.

In addition to the Lowell events, Revolutionary Valley Regional Tourism Council, in partnership with the town of  Lexington, will host the Lexington Global Soccer Celebration June 16 to 26 on the Visitors Center Lawn, located across from the Lexington Green. This celebration will feature live broadcasts on massive outdoor LED screens with immersive sound and an exciting crowd atmosphere, providing another opportunity for soccer fans to come together and enjoy the tournament.
