Curated by the Irish Traditional Music Archive in Dublin, Tunes on the Charles is an exciting new venture to share top-class traditional Irish, music, dance and song in the Boston area.
The festival features some of the best Irish musicians in Ireland and America in ITMA-sponsored concerts at the Somerville Theatre on Thursday (April 30) and Friday (May 1 sponsored by ITMA, along with a multitude of workshops, lectures, dances and sessions at cultural venues and Irish pubs in Cambridge and Somerville, Massachusetts.
