Celtic Sunday, Milton Music Fest

3:30 pm

The annual Milton Music Fest features a day of Celtic music. This year’s line-up includes DJs Bobby Brooks and John Costello,  the Dooley Brothers, Erin’s Melody, Danny Gill and the Old Brigade and the Fenian Sons.  In addition, there’s plenty of free activities for families and children, food trucks and vendors.  Don’t mis the Firetruck parade, and then fireworks over Boston Harbor.

Join in for a concert featuring local talent performing a broad and diverse range of musical genres and let the excitement grow for the evening fireworks.

Boston Harborfest Fireworks

9:15- 9:30 PM @ Boston Harbor

Visible from several vantage points along the Inner Harbor, the Harborfest Fireworks return to provide a spectacular display for all to enjoy. The fireworks will be launched from a barge at Boston’s Long Wharf.

Best vantage points include: Christopher Columbus Waterfront Park; Fan Pier; Flagship Wharf; Piers Park, East Boston; LoPresti Park, East Boston; Griffin’s Wharf

Reading of the Declaration of Independence

The Reading of the Declaration of Independence in Boston, MA is a cherished tradition that brings history to life. Held annually, this event gathers crowds in historic locations such as Faneuil Hall or the Old State House to witness the powerful words of the founding document being recited. With passionate speakers and a reverent atmosphere, this reading commemorates the spirit of liberty and serves as a reminder of the ideals that shaped the nation’s journey towards independence.

Boston Pops Fireworks Spectacular

7:00PM @ DCR Hatch Shell on the Esplanade

The Boston Pops July 4th Spectacular is slated to take place at the Hatch Memorial Shell on the Esplanade starting at 8:00pm.

The concert ends with a fireworks display around 9:40pm (subject to change).

Lowell Independence Day Celebration

6:30 pm

4th of July in Lowell starts at 6:30 pm. Enjoy Americana inspired hits, bubble magic by Bubbles McGee, face painting for all ages, and entertainment by Cirque de Light!

Please Note: Capacity for this event is limited to 750 attendees to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all. Attendees will be admitted to the event on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Bag Policy: per venue regulations, a clear bag policy will be in effect for July 4. Learn what is accepted at  tsongascenter.com

Free parking is available at the George Ayotte Parking Facility, 11 Post Office Square, gates open at 4:30 pm. $10 parking is available at the East Campus parking garage located next to the ballpark and the Perkins Lot across the street.

Concessions will be on hand for purchase at LeLacheur Park.

Alternative Viewing Locations for Fireworks:
-The Riverwalk, located along the Merrimack River from 111 Pawtucket Street to 52 Lawrence Drive
-St. Louis Park, located at 406 West 6th Street
-Parking Lot at Cushing Field Complex, located at 275 Riverside Street

The parking garage and concessions will also be available at Cushing Field Complex.

Plymouth Arts & Crafts Festival

The Plymouth Arts & Crafts Festival takes place on the Plymouth Public Library lawn.
This is a rain or shine event.

Enjoy over 50 artisans, plenty of food, music entertainment and family activities, food trucks, silent auction, Lego contest & more!

Festival proceeds will be used to support the many cultural, artistic and educational programs offered by the Plymouth Public Library so please come out and enjoy a great weekend while supporting a great cause!

The Annual Arts & Crafts Festival is usually held the 2nd weekend in August.

For 2026 the Festival will be held August 8 and 9 from 10am – 4pm.

Activities include a beloved duck race, live entertainment, the popular classic car show and more than 200 arts & crafts vendors and local non-profits. It is a perfect way to enjoy one of American’s most historic cities.

2026 Lowell Irish Festival

The Lowell Irish Festival features a family- friendly and fun-filled day of live Irish music from national, regional, and local acts, Irish-inspired culinary and beverage offerings, artisan vendors, family activities, Irish step dancing, and more.

The day-long event is spread out across the Lowell Auditorium grounds – inside and outdoors – and is open to families and groups of all ages free of charge.  The festival is considered  as one of the Mill City’s great annual cultural events.
