NEWPORT WINTER WONDERLAND
TRAVEL & CULTURE MAGAZINE
WINTER 2023-'24
Savvy travelers know well the special pleasures of visiting an iconic destination in the off-season, between December and March. Here in New England, one of our favorite places to visit is Newport, Rhode Island, which is among the region’s most charming seaside cities, any time of year, but with a special seasonal magic to warm your heart during the off-season.
Newport in winter offers the same summer amenities that delight visitors year after year – majestic mansions from the Gilded Age, cultural riches and historical landmarks, artisan retail shops and amazing cuisine, outdoor walks and stunning seascapes, and always, the friendly hospitality of the locals. Plus, prices are lower in winter, crowds are smaller, and you get to experience this beautiful city in its essence, all while enjoying life and helping to sustain the community.
