CHEFS IN SHORTS HOLD OUTDOOR BARBEQUE AT
THE SEAPORT BOSTON HOTEL
The 16th annual Chefs in Shorts celebration of Boston’s culinary scene takes place on Friday, June 14, 2013 at the Seaport Boston Hotel along the waterfront. The outdoor grill-off features some of Boston’s best chefs, sharing their favorite recipes and helping to strengthen the local culinary industry.
Tickets to the event are $70, which includes complimentary beer, wine and culinary tastings. Proceeds from the event go to Future Chefs, a non-profit group that prepares urban youth in greater Boston for quality early employment and educational opportunities in the culinary industry, according to Jim Carmody, general manager of the Seaport Boston Hotel.
