A live drive-in concert featuring Enter the Haggis (pictured) at Westfield State University with opening band Shindig. Join Glasgow Lands Scottish Festival for a unique opportunity to see these two great bands perform in an outdoor setting. Food and drinks will be available for purchase (Cash/Credit). Due to COVID-19 capacity restrictions, Newport Folk will be doing things a little differently this year. The event will be extending dates to present two unique 3-day events of surprise performances, storytelling, and workshops at Fort Adams – July 23rd through July 25th and July 26th through July 28th.
Lowell Folk Festival -
The Lowell Folk Festival and its producing partners announced plans for Keeping the Tradition: A Virtual Celebration of the Lowell Folk Festival. Held in the streets of Lowell, MA for 33 years, the Lowell Folk Festival brings together tens of thousands of people in celebration of the richness of American culture and the unique spirit of the Lowell community. While the streets of Lowell will not be filled with traditional music, dance, food, and the cultural treasures that make up our diverse community, it is important to honor the tradition of the festival in late July.
