Irish music lovers are in for a genuine treat this St. Patrick's Day season, as Blackstone River Theatre presents Irish ensemble Téada on Saturday, March 19, 2022.

Founded in 2001 by Sligo fiddler Oisín Mac Diarmada, Téada has traveled the world, bringing its explosive brand of traditional Irish music to audiences in North America, Europe, Africa, Asia and Australia. Irish Music Magazine described Téada as being "at the cutting edge of the next generation of Irish musicians... with a fierce familiarity with the old ways."

Joining Oisín on the U.S. tour are Paul Finn on accordion, Damien Stenson on flute, and Seán Mc Elwain on guitar.

Note: Masks are required for patrons and staff at the concert, and patrons will be asked to show their vaccination passes before entering. As most music lovers know, Blackstone River Theatre is considered one of the most acoustically delightful small concert venues in New England, a favored stop by touring musicians.
